On November 1, 2024, the Hong Kong Generative AI Research Center (HKGAI) held its anniversary celebration, marking one year since its official establishment. Members of the center gathered to reflect on their journey over the past year and share joyful moments together.

On November 23, 2024, Dr. Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, attended the Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony and participated in a fireside chat at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). During the visit, Dr. Huang engaged with the HKUST Innovation Showcase, where the Hong Kong Generative AI Research and Development Center (HKGAI) demonstrated its current-stage research achievements.
