Happy Birthday to Me | Joyful Moments of HKGAI's First Anniversary

On November 1, 2024, the Hong Kong Generative AI Research and Development Center (HKGAI) held its anniversary celebration to mark the first anniversary of its official establishment. The center's members gathered together to share their experiences over the past year and enjoy happy moments.

 A Glimpse into HKGAI's 1st Anniversary Event

On a breezy and sunny autumn day, the anniversary celebration was held outdoors on the rooftop of the Lee Shau Kee Business Building at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Everyone sat on the ground, and the atmosphere was warm and harmonious. The event was hosted by Ms. Huang Hongying, the Chief Operating Officer of HKGAI. The main guests included Prof. Yike Guo, the Pro - Vice - Chancellor of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Director of the center, Ms. Cao Qi, the head of the center's Administration Department, Mr. Bi Dawei, the head of the center's Engineering Department, Mr. Yu Yue, the head of the center's Marketing Department, Prof. Xue Wei, an Assistant Professor at the Division of Emerging Interdisciplinary Studies of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the head of the center's Model Department, Mr. Pan Kunhao, the head of the center's Model Department, Mr. Wang Yiwen, the person in charge of the center's blockchain technology, Prof. Chen Hao, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Dr. Song Jun, a Research Assistant Professor at Hong Kong Baptist University.
